This work builds on the idea of planes taking off from Taiwan, showcasing a scenario in which a family of black bears, embodying the unaffected and friendly nature of Taiwanese people, takes locally grown fruit to share with overseas friends. The piece highlights local features, imbuing the family trip with hope and happiness. At the same time, it also crafts a futurist sense of boxes of fruit in the cargo-hold of a spaceship, an allusion to the boundless capacity for Taiwanese industry to create economic prosperity.
